Two summits. Same takeaway.

Cross-border collaboration is shifting. And India starts playing a key role in it.

Last week, I had the opportunity to represent Zinnov at two events here in Berlin:

The AsiaBerlin Summit 2025 and the International Digital Dialogues (co-hosted by the Bundesministerium für Digitales und Staatsmodernisierung and the European Commission).

It was a great opportunity to see both sides of the coin:
1. The innovation corridor driving technological development, and
2. The policy framework required to scale it.

My key takeaways on the EU-Asia relations:

1️⃣ Government as an accelerator, not an operator:
At AsiaBerlin, the message was clear: Governments can lay the groundwork for ecosystems, but they shouldn't try to manage them. The most effective policy approach seems to be to "Connect & Enable".

2️⃣ The rise of triparty operability:
At the Digital Dialogues, one key takeaway was the India-EU Digital Partnership. A tech stack integration with focus on
- Interoperability: Integrating the India stack with the EU stack is now a serious discussion.
- Fintech focus: Fintech is the testing ground for cross-border digital infrastructure.
- Goal: Triparty operability, mixing EU and Indian tech stacks to create seamless global solutions.

India is starting to play a central role in this shift, and the appetite for collaboration is accelerating. Super interesting discussions and excited about what's to come!
