The Top 3 Countries in AI
India well ahead of Europe.
The top 3 countries in AI?
Yes, you see that right.
India’s role in the technology sector is still underestimated. The time as pure outsourcing hub is long gone and global businesses of all sizes come to India NOT for the cost arbitrage that might still exist, but to access the ecosystem and talent pool.
Stanford’s AI Vibrancy Index takes many factors into account and India outperforms for R&D and Talent.
Some outcomes:
AI for All: the Indian government is strongly investing in inclusive AI solutions and open source - India’s Tech Stack.
AI Summit: partner of the Paris AI Summit in 2025, India will host this year’s Global AI Summit in Delhi.
AI Centre of Excellence: Dedicated hubs by global multinationals are being built to innovate from Indian GCCs. Just recently, Germany’s Knorr-Bremse AG announced theirs.
Implications are vast, and will lead to more companies setting up GCCs in India with dedicated AI CoEs. On top, Big Tech’s Microsoft , Amazon , and Google will invest their largest sums outside of the US in India.
Corporate real estate portfolios and strategies will shift. Many just don’t know yet.
I shared this graph in 2025’s last issue of India Rising due to its implications for European businesses.
