The projects I remember most?
The ones others didn't want.

The projects I remember most?
Too complex.
Too political.
Too much missing information.
Nobody wanted them because they were often too risky and exposed. I always volunteered.
Not out of stubbornness, but because that's where real expertise and judgement get built.
Limited data.
Competing stakeholders.
Decisions that matter and with no obvious right answer.
That's what 14+ years across 30+ countries actually looks like behind a CV. Not a portfolio of smooth executions, but a lot of situations where I had to figure it out, collaborate with great teams, and build the cross-functional muscle to do it again and again.
That instinct doesn't go away and it's still what I look for in a mandate today. And what my clients value.

What's the project in your career that taught you the most, and would you have taken it if you'd known what it involved?
