My Takeaways from the GIIC Summit 2026

High energy. Great people.

And demand for tangible results.

India Rising joined this years German Indian Innovation Summit in Berlin as ecosystem partner, hosted by our network partner German Indian Innovation Corridor - GIIC. And it was special in a number of ways.

First, it is a great recognition of our collaboration that started over a year ago.

Second, I had the pleasure of taking on an active role and interview many of the distinguished speakers and panelists (more to come!).

Third, meeting so many friends, connections, and partners again, or for the first time, was incredibly joyful.

The main theme around AI in manufacturing was a clear connect to the potential, synergies and opportunities between Germany and India. And turning this momentum into actual projects, collaborations, and results will be key. India is developing fast, and it requires honest focus in all disciplines. Glad to see gatherings like this laying the groundwork for it.

Thanks Siddharth Bhasin, Upen Barve, Luke Lalor, and Jan Lachenmayer for having me and looking forward to what’s coming.

And thank you Ofelia Schödl and Gagan Deep for the collaboration on the interviews. Well done!

More of my takeaways soon through India Rising and other channels.
