I wanted to become an Architect

But didn't.

I've always enjoyed building things.

So I wanted to become an architect. But didn't.

“Architect!” was always my answer when I was asked as a kid what I wanted to become once I grow up. Architecture because it's where an idea becomes something real and lasting. I’ve always enjoyed that.

I ended up with engineering and economics, specialised in real estate, urban design, and building physics. A good mix for me as I still keep gravitating toward,

Who a building / space is for
Why it gets built, and
Whether it works as an asset, corporate strategy and for the people around it.

The commercial and strategic side of the built environment provides the variety I’ve always wanted. Leading project teams, working alongside architects, engineers and clients, and connecting what each of them needs into a single outcome.

And on every development, holding one question in view (apart from the business strategy): what does this do to the community and the surroundings around it?

In the end, I help shape the conditions that let it exist in the first place. Different seat at the same table, and I still love building things.
