Feedback from the latest Roundtable

German engineering. Indian digital technology. A clear match.

German engineering. Indian digital technology.

A clear match. And the roundtable agreed.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to represent Zinnov at the roundtable “Bridging Continents, Powering Change: The India-Germany Digital Partnership” in Berlin, organised by the Embassy of India, Berlin under the Make in India Mittelstand (MIIM) initiative, with leadership from nasscom, Bitkom, and BVMW.

The core consensus was undeniable: the partnership is a clear strategic match.

Some key takeaways:

➡️ The industrial synergies: all participants agreed that German engineering and manufacturing excellence in combination with India's digital talent and innovation can unlock full potential.

➡️ India's Tech momentum: With its services sector significantly outpacing GDP growth, an unmatched tech talent pool, and service exports nearing USD 400 billion, India is firmly established as a global innovation powerhouse.

➡️ Germany's strategic focus: Germany is actively seeking partners to strengthen its position in crucial areas like AI, quantum, or semiconductors, and India is critical partner to strengthen ties with.

While the potential is massive, one crucial point was highlighted: it’s not talked about enough.

Nice catching up Jens Joseph Mannanal , Daniel Raja and finally meeting you Siddharth Bhasin!
