BASF and L'Oréal open GCCs in Hyderabad.
Access to the Indian tech ecosystem is becoming increasingly important. Both the German chemical leader and the French beauty giant are therefore establishing tech hubs in Hyderabad to drive global digital transformation:
BASF Digital Hub:
➡️ Focus: Global Digital Services & Value Creation
➡️ Timeline: Operational start Q1 2026
➡️ Strategy: Collaboration alongside Ludwigshafen & Madrid
L'Oréal BeautyTech Hub:
➡️ Total Investment: EUR 390 million (INR 3,500 Cr)
➡️ Focus: AI, Data, and Next-Gen Digital Engineering
India’s Global Capability Centers (GCCs) are expected to grow to an USD 100 billion industry by 2030, from around USD 65 billion today, according to Zinnov. European businesses are increasingly recognizing the value of accessing not just talent, but the market and ecosystem of the world's fastest-growing major economy.
And their real estate teams better be ready!
